I finally got to see Listener live today. It’s been almost a year since I discovered them through a rather misleading advert on Facebook claiming they will appeal to Tom Waits fans. In a way, that’s what got me then. But at the time this song felt like these guys were in my head and in my heart. I was filming a short about humans being ships, and seeking the sea in the city, and getting lost. Give it a listen, the video is beautiful, it’s on Youtube, go check it out.
